The last training session of July! Where has 2011 gone?
Worked-out with my friend Travis today. Warmed-up with Hindu Squats and Push-ups, 15/15 for 10-min. Next, Jungle Gym Chins. I did 4 sets of 6.
Then the hard stuff: Long Cycle Kettlebell Clean & Jerks for 10-min, switching hands every 5-reps, followed by KB Swings, 30/30 for 10-min.
Over the next few weeks I plan to boost the amount of time spent on Long Cycle, while decreasing the time spent on Swings. The goal is to get up to 20-min of Long Cycle, at which point we’ll drop our time, but add reps, i.e. switching hands every 6-reps instead of 5. I figure we’ll keep on going at this until we’re looking at 20-min of Long Cycle with hand switches every 8-10 reps or so. And then? Heavier kettlebells!
